- Mesa Air partners with SZ Airlines

MESA Air Group has partnered with Shenzhen Airlines to offer more services to and from the city. Its Phoenix Airline is joining Shenzhen Airlines to create a new regional carrier named Kunpeng Airlines. The airline is named after a mythical bird revered in Chinese society. The new airline will start flying around China on Sept. 16, and ramp up operations before the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing.
