STATE-OWNED aircraft maker AVIC I will inject more assets into Shenzhen-listed unit Xi'an Aircraft as it moves to float its major civil aviation assets on the stock market, the China Securities Journal said yesterday.
Xi'an Aircraft International Corp. would issue new shares worth 450 million yuan in exchange for stakes in two newly established AVIC I units, Shenyang Civil Aviation and Chengdu Civil Aviation, the newspaper said. After the share placement, Xi'an Aircraft would hold a 45 percent stake in each of the units, it added, without saying when the share offer would be completed.
