- BOC unit leases planes to carriers

BOC Aviation, which is wholly-owned by Bank of China (BOC), said Thursday it has signed leasing agreements involving seven Boeing 737-800 planes with two domestic carriers and a Japanese airline.
BOC Aviation will lease four of the Boeing planes to Hainan Airlines, two to Shandong Airlines and one to Japanese carrier Skymark Airlines, BOC Aviation said in a statement. The two domestic carriers will take delivery of the new planes in 2010 while the Japanese airline will get its Boeing plane in 2009, the company said.
