- Air China passengers up 19.4 percent

HONG KONG and Shanghai-listed Air China Ltd. said Thursday it carried 19.4 percent more passengers in February, a total of 2.57 million.
Passenger growth was highest on international flights, which rose 24.4 percent to 416,600. In its core domestic market, the airline carried 18.4 percent more passengers to 2.07 million. The Beijing-based airline also carried 14.3 percent more cargo during the month to 61,192.3 metric tons. Year-earlier figures weren't provided. Air China's passenger load factor, or the number of seats filled on each flight, rose 4 percentage points from the same month last year to 76.3 percent.
