- Sanya-Manchester chartered flight opens

British tourists are welcomed by Sanya residents as they arrive at Fenghuang International Airport in Sanya, a coastal resort in South China's island province of Hainan on Monday. A British Mytravel plane with more than 100 tourists flew from Manchester to Sanya that day, the first ever chartered flight between the two cities. The flight, which will be operated until October, will make a round trip weekly.
