- United Airlines to launch daily Guangzhou-San Francisco direct service next June

United Airlines will become the first U.S. airline to offer a daily, nonstop route between Guangzhou and San Francisco when it launches the service on June 18, 2008.
'The new Guangzhou service will be United Airlines' sixth daily nonstop service between China and the U.S.,' said Sidney Kwok, General Manager of United Airlines in China.
'We are pleased to expand our route network and provide another destination in China for our customers.'
