- Southern Air passengers up 14 percent

CHINA Southern Airlines, the country's largest carrier, said yesterday it had 5.07 million passengers in October, up 14 percent year on year.
The firm carried 47.77 million passengers in the first 10 months, up 15.4 percent year on year. The company said it carried 712,040 tons of cargo in the first 10 months, up 5.7 percent.
