- China, Mexico may open direct flight

DIRECT air service between Mexico and China might begin in March or April 2008, Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Relations Patricia Espinosa Cantellano said Friday.
She told reporters at the Mexican Embassy in Beijing that Mexico's Aeromexico had indicated an intention to start such services. The flights, which Espinosa said would connect Mexico City and Shanghai, would be the first direct air link between China and Latin America.
