- Nanjing bank to open two new branches

BANK of Nanjing plans to open at least two new branches outside of its home base this year, its chairman said Thursday.
The company, partly owned by top French lender BNP Paribas, plans to open branches in Shanghai and Wuxi, near its home base of Nanjing, capital of eastern China's Jiangsu Province, Nanjing bank chairman Lin Fu said. 'Expansion outside our home base will be our top priority after listing,'Lin said on the sidelines of a ceremony to mark the listing of the lender in Shanghai on Thursday. Nanjing bank currently has only one branch outside Nanjing.
