- Intesa aims to buy Qingdao bank stake

INTESA Sanpaolo intends to buy a 20 percent stake in China's Qingdao City Commercial Bank, the Italian bank's chief executive said Thursday.
'We are evaluating the possibility of taking the largest stake possible in a local bank with great potential. Qingdao is a local bank in a very important area,'Corrado Passera said.
