- Everbright Bank to list by year-end

CHINA Everbright Bank Co. could list as early as the end of this year, with due diligence work by Ernst & Young LLP expected to be completed by mid-June, local media reported.
Citing an unnamed official at Everbright Bank, the Shanghai Securities News reported yesterday the bank could go public by the end of this year, but didn't elaborate on where it would list shares or how much it would raise from an initial public offering. Central Huijin Investment Co., a State financial investment agency, has hired Ernst & Young to conduct due diligence of Everbright Bank and its major shareholder China Everbright Group.
