- Wahaha wins case against Danone

A DOMESTIC arbitration court had ruled in favor of domestic beverage maker Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co. on its dispute with joint-venture partner Groupe Danone SA over the ownership of the Wahaha brand, the Caijing magazine reported on its Web site Sunday.
The Hangzhou Arbitration Commission said the period during which Danone was eligible to file a lawsuit over the matter had lapsed, the magazine reported. The French company had the right to file an appeal against the decision, the magazine said.
