- Vin & Sprit forms spirits venture

VIN & Sprit, Sweden's state-owned spirits company which the government has said it plans to sell, said Thursday it had formed a joint venture with Jiannanchun, a producer of China's traditional domestic spirit, or baijiu.
Vin & Sprit said in a statement that it owned 51 percent of the joint venture, which initially will market and distribute existing baijiu brands within the premium segment.
