- Talks with Thai Beverage terminated: Gujing

INTERNATIONAL Beverage Holding Ltd.'s talks with a State assets regulator in Anhui Province to buy 100 percent of spirits maker Anhui Gujing Group Co. have been terminated, the Shenzhen-listed unit of Gujing Group said Thursday.
'Since the two parties have a big divergence in the negotiation and can't reach an agreement, the Haozhou Municipal Government (in Anhui Province) decided to terminate the transfer of the 100 percent stake of Anhui Gujing Group,'Anhui Gujing Distillery Co. said in a statement. It didn't elaborate. International Beverage Holding is a wholly owned Hong Kong-based unit of Singapore-listed Thai Beverage PCL.
