- Shanghai Electric plans bond issue

SHANGHAI Electric Group Co. plans to issue up to 1.5 billion yuan (US$197.37 million) worth of bonds to domestic institutional investors.
The country's largest listed power equipment maker by capacity said it plans to apply to the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the People's Bank of China regarding the bond issue, adding that details and terms of the bond issue are subject to the final approval of the two regulators.
