- Sinopec to issue domestic bonds

SHAREHOLDERS of Sinopec Corp., Asia's largest oil refiner, have approved the issue of domestic bonds worth no more than 10 billion yuan (US$1.3 billion), the China Securities Journal said yesterday.
The bond issue would be used to fund Sinopec's project in Zhenhai and Guangzhou, the newspaper reported. Sinopec, China's second-largest integrated oil company, had said in December it would issue domestic bonds to fund projects, pending shareholder approval
