- Gujing in takeover talks with ThaiBev

ANHUI Gujing Distillery Co. said Friday its parent was in talks with a unit of Thai Beverage (ThaiBev), Thailand's largest distiller, about selling the Shenzhen-listed company.
Anhui Gujing Group had picked International Beverage Holding, the international arm of Singapore-listed ThaiBev, as one of the candidates for an acquisition of the group, Anhui Gujing Distillery said in a statement. The State-owned firm in January registered to sell 100 percent of its shares at a minimum price of 1.08 billion yuan (US$139.7 million).
