- Nautilus plans to buy contract producer

FITNESS equipment maker Nautilus Inc. said it took an option to buy its China-based largest contract manufacturer for about US$72 million in cash and stock. The purchase of Land America Health and Fitness Co. Ltd. is expected to improve the company's gross margins by 1.5 to 2.0 percentage points in 2008, Nautilus said in a statement.
