  • Tianjin, Rizhao ports to raise fees

    TIANJIN Port (Group) Co., northern China's busiest port, and Rizhao Port, based in eastern Shandong Province, said Friday they would charge higher fees for unloading containers next year, aiming to boost revenue and gross margins.

    Tianjin Port, which currently charges an average of 251 yuan per TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) for unloading, will raise its fees by 10 percent. Rizhao also plans to lift its fees by 10 percent.
