- Producer price index up 3.2%

THE Producer Price Index (PPI) for China's industrial products rose by 3.2 percent in October from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said yesterday.
The purchasing price of raw materials, fuel and power rose by 4.5 percent from a year earlier, the NBS said in its monthly report. The PPI for means of production was up 3.1 percent and that of livelihood went up 3.5 percent, the report said.
