- New rules planned for pension funds

THE government plans to draft tough new regulations for social security funds, in a further attempt by the government to clamp down on corruption.
The new rules, to be drafted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, will cover the management and investment of social security funds, according to domestic media. Since the government began setting up a social safety net nine years ago, the funds have been a tempting source of capital for local officials.
