  • More measures expected to slow growth

    THE Chinese Government is likely to take more measures to tame the country's fast-growing economy, a domestic commercial bank executive said Thursday.

    Asked if China's economy was growing too rapidly, Zhu Min, group executive vice president of Bank of China, said: 'No.'He said growth was a little bit too high but the government has measures to cool the growth. 'The government will take steps to continue to slow the economy down (this year) but things are more balanced now,'Zhu said on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
