- Skyworth TV sales down 11.4 percent

TELEVISION maker Skyworth Digital Holdings Ltd. sold 11.4 percent fewer TV sets in July than in the same month last year because of a sharp decline in overseas sales.
Shenzhen-based Skyworth, China's third-largest TV maker in terms of unit sales, said it sold 560,000 cathode-ray tube (CRT) and flat-screen TVs in July, down from 632,000 units in July 2006. Overseas sales fell to 124,000 sets from 167,000 sets a year earlier, while CRT sales in China dropped to 77,400 units from 92,500 units.
