- Few exports hurt by slowing efforts

CENTRAL bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan said Sunday that China's efforts to slow export growth will hurt only some export sectors.
'If we reduce the speed of exports, certainly it may hurt some export sectors. But I think this is a healthy adjustment as China moves more from labor intensive manufacturing to higher value-added exports,'Zhou told reporters at an Inter-American Development Bank conference in Guatemala.
