- Oil majors to further cut gasoline exports

PETROCHINA Co. and China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., also known as Sinopec, may continue to cut gasoline exports in September following a huge reduction in August, Xinhua reported Friday, citing a report in the China Securities Journal.
The two may even halt gasoline exports next month, Xinhua reported. PetroChina and Sinopec's potential cut comes after a warning by the National Development and Reform Commission, China's economic planning agency, earlier this month to maintain supplies of oil products to domestic markets.
