- Zhejiang Tea forms JV with Tata Tea

INDIA'S Tata Tea Ltd. said yesterday it had formed a joint venture with China's Zhejiang Tea Import and Export Company to make and sell tea beverage products.
The company said it would own 70 percent of the joint venture. The cost of the project was estimated at 700 million rupees (US$17 million) and would be funded through a mix of equity and debt, Tata Tea said.
