ZHONGHAI Fund Management Co. is in talks to sell a stake to French financial firm La Compagnie Financiere Edmond de Rothschild Banque, the Shanghai Securities News reported yesterday, citing unnamed sources.
The report didn't provide any more details about the stake talks. La Compagnie Financiere Edmond de Rothschild is a private French bank that specializes in asset management and is wholly owned by Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and his family. Zhonghai Fund is indirectly controlled by China National Offshore Oil Corp.
