- Wealth fund denies ANZ buy

CHINA Investment Corp. (CIC), the country's fledgling sovereign wealth fund, has not bought into Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. (ANZ), the fund's chairman Lou Jiwei said yesterday.
A spokesman for ANZ said earlier this month that a Chinese Government fund had bought a less than 5 percent stake in the lender.
