- Nation urged to aid private equity

THE government should encourage overseas private equity firms to raise money in China to reduce foreign currency inflows while still attracting needed management expertise, deputy central bank governor Wu Xiaoling said Wednesday.
'We hope foreign private equity funds can make more use of the yuan market after entering China, and launch more yuan-denominated investment funds,'Wu said.
