- China Southern to double global stock fund

CHINA Southern Fund Management Co. has applied to regulators to double the size of its first global stock fund to 30 billion yuan (US$4 billion) to meet demand, two company sources familiar with the matter said Friday.
The company has said it raised the targeted 15 billion yuan for the fund on the day of its launch for sale Wednesday. Total subscriptions for the fund totaled 40 billion to 50 billion.
