SHANGHAI copper rose 2.4 percent Friday after London futures recovered Thursday from early lows, while aluminum was supported by tight spot supply in China.
The most active April copper contract ended 1,210 yuan up at 51,360 yuan (US$6,630) a ton. 'Bullish factors in China's copper market are becoming more clear, prompting buying interest in Shanghai after prices in London rebounded from early lows Thursday,'Wang Zheng at Dalu Futures in Shanghai said.
