- Wyndham luxury hotel to open in China

WYNDHAM Worldwide Corp. will open its first Wyndham-branded luxury hotel in China this year, the company said yesterday, joining other brands which are already tapping the fast-growing market.
Wyndham Hotel Group, which operates hotels in China under the Ramada, Days Inn, Howard Johnson and Super 8 brands, has signed a 10-year management contract with a local partner, He Ping Li Hotel Co., and will open a 550-room facility in the southeastern city of Xiamen in the fourth quarter, its parent company said in a statement.
