THE country's crude oil imports fell to their second-lowest level this year in October, with data from the General Administration of Customs confirming yesterday that the country shipped in 3.8 percent less oil than at same stage of 2005.
China's crude imports in October totaled 10.82 million metric tons, their lowest level except for July and a hefty drop from the 13.46 million tons that was imported in September.
