CHINA'S monthly trade surplus surged 73 percent in May this year to US$22.5 billion, according to data released by the country's customs agency Monday. The country's April surplus stood at US$16.9 billion.
Exports jumped 28.7 percent to US$94 billion, while imports rose 19.1 percent to US$71.6 billion, official data indicated.
