A STATISTICS bureau survey found last week that the city last year had 10 enterprises or groups with total assets exceeding 10 billion yuan (US$1.35 billion) each, three more than the figure in 2005.
The total assets of the 59 largest Shenzhen enterprises at the end of the year hit 804.35 billion yuan, up 28 percent compared with 2005. These 59 enterprises yielded a total revenue of 313.2 billion yuan, up 1.3 percent year on year, while their profits totalled 27.8 billion yuan, up 26.6 percent.
