- Enterprise Boom Index runs high in the second quarter

The investigation of 19,500 national enterprises from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that, in the second quarter, the NBS index was 146.0, up 6.3 points and 10.1 points higher than the first quarter and the same period of last year.
The indexes of the manufacturing, electric power, gas and water production and supply industries have risen. The NBS index increased by 6.5 and 11.3 points higher than the first quarter, up 11.8 and 9.8 points higher than the same period of last year. It has become the highest in recent years. The NBS indexes of the mining, construction, transportation storage and postal industries; wholesale and retail trade; real estate; social services; information transmission computer service and software industries; hotel and restaurant industries are as follows: 162.6, 142.4, 137.7, 152.1, 141.1, 136.9, 158.5 and 131.4 respectively. Compared to first quarter indexes, the boom index of transportation storage, the postal industry, and the wholesale and retail trade enterprises, are almost balanced. Other industries have seen improvement; compared with the same period of last year, the mining industry index balanced.
