- Ping An names head of Shenzhen bank unit

PING An Insurance (Group) Co., China's second-largest life insurer, has appointed Richard David Jackson president of its Shenzhen Commercial Bank unit, Ping An said in a statement yesterday.
'The appointment has been approved by the Shenzhen Commercial Bank's board and the China Banking Regulatory Commission,'Ping An said. Jackson, 51, joined Ping An in October 2005 after working for 20 years at Citigroup's Citibank, it said.
