- Sanofi-Aventis to invest in SZ vaccine facility

FRENCH drugmaker Sanofi-Aventis (SNY) said yesterday it would invest 70 million euros (US$104.48 million ) in its new vaccine facility in Shenzhen. The figure was given by Jacques Cholat, president of Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines division of Sanofi-Aventis. Sanofi-Aventis said yesterday it had signed an agreement with Chinese authorities to build a vaccine facility in Shenzhen that will manufacture the influenza vaccine.
