- Forex investment agency may be launched

CHINA'S long-awaited State investment agency may be launched this week, the China Securities Journal reported yesterday.
The newspaper, citing unidentified sources, listed a group of managers for the investment agency, but it did not name an overall chief. The initial group of managers includes: Lou Jiwei, a former vice finance minister and now a State Council secretary; Gao Xiqing, vice chairman of the National Social Security Fund; Zhang Hongli, a vice finance minister; Xie Ping, chief executive of central bank's investment arm Huijin and Fred Hu, an economist and managing director at Goldman Sachs.
