- Jiangxi Copper profit falls 8.83 percent

JIANGXI Copper Co., China's top integrated copper producer, said yesterday its net profit fell 8.83 percent to 836.13 million yuan (US$108.4 million) for the first three months of 2007.
The company said in a statement the results were prepared under domestic accounting standards and had not been audited.
