LAIWU Steel Group, China's biggest producer of H beams used in construction, will boost output of the product 25 percent this year as the nation's economic growth boosts demand.
The company, which may sell a stake in its Shanghai-listed unit, Laiwu Steel Corp., to Arcelor Mittal, the world's largest steelmaker, will boost H-beam production to 3 million metric tons this year, vice president Zhang Shengsheng said in Beijing on Wednesday.
