    Date: 5-Dec-2007 Sources: (People's Daily)

Aigo, the leading Chinese brand of MP3 players, has become the only Asian partner with the Race of Champions (ROC), an annual event attracting elites from various motor races.

At a joint press conference here on Tuesday, both sides agreed that the logo of Aigo would appear on the two-lane asphalt track inside the new Wembley Stadium, the venue of the 19th edition of ROC which would kick off on Dec. 16.

At the end of last year, Aigo had signed a long-term sponsorship deal with McLaren. It was the first Chinese brand to appear on the McLaren car, and race suits of the team drivers.

ROC sees drivers from various categories of motor sport go head to head for the title of Champion of Champions as well as for the Nations Cup.

Retired seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher had confirmed his participation while organizers said Hamilton, the 22-year-old British rookie leading the standings for McLaren, had expressed an interest.

A total of 16 top drivers from eight countries will compete in this year's ROC and about 80,000 motor fans will go to Wembley.

The Chinese fans will for the first time watch the live show through China Central TV.
