- Honda's China vehicle sales up 20%

HONDA Motor Co. sold 19.7 percent more vehicles in China in August than in the same month a year earlier, the company said Friday.
Honda, maker of the Accord, Civic and Odyssey models, sold 32,426 vehicles in China in August, up from 27,087 units a year earlier, it said in a statement. Sales at its Guangzhou Honda venture climbed 1 percent to 20,626 vehicles, while sales at its venture in central China jumped 77 percent to 11,800 units. In the first eight months of the year, Honda sold 252,425 vehicles, up 19.6 percent from a year earlier, it added.
