TRADE between Southwest China's Yunnan Province and ASEAN members amounted to US$2.17 billion last year, an increment of US$630 million, or 40.9 percent, from the previous year. According to local customs sources, the trade volume, or 34.8 percent of the province's total external trade, included US$1.63 billion in export value, up 50 percent, and US$540 million in import value, up 15.6 percent.
