FRENCH home appliance maker SEB SA has received approval from China's Securities Regulatory Commission to acquire 30 percent of Shenzhen-listed cookware and small electrical appliances manufacturer Zhejiang Supor Cookware Co.
The approval will allow SEB to acquire a block of 25 million shares in Zhejiang Supor from the Su family at a price of 18 yuan (US$2.38) per share and to subscribe to a rights issue of 40 million shares at 18 yuan per share yuan.
