- Risk management forum to be held

THE 4th China International Credit and Risk Management Conference will be held in Shenzhen between Sept. 19- 21.
The conference, a high-level forum to help Chinese enterprises and multinationals exchange risk control in international trade and investment and improve their credit risk analysis, is jointly organized by FCIB, an association of Executives in Finance, Credit and International Business, CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), the Ministry of Commerce of China, Export-Import Bank of China, and the Shenzhen Municipal Government.
More than 500 representatives from enterprises, governments, experts and professionals from risk control institutions around the world will attend the conference, according to Shenzhen Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
The conference will create a friendly networking environment and provide a platform for attendees to update their knowledge, share experiences, and exchange viewpoints and techniques relating to the trade credit, bank credit, risk control and risk mitigation, said Julian Chen, chief operating officer of FCIB China.
The forum is part of the government campaign to establish a social credit system.
The conference has two main themes, with one focusing on 'doing business internationally?and another on 'doing business in China.'
The first theme aims to help Chinese companies learn how to manage development and growth opportunities aboard. Attendees will learn how to compete internationally, how to gain competitiveness through a sound credit risk management and how to mitigate trade risk.
The second theme is designed for multinational companies doing business in China with discussions around the characteristics of the Chinese market, enterprise trade behavior, credit information, instruments of payment, cash application, law enforcement issues, accounting standards and the new Chinese bankruptcy law.
