Macao gaming billionaire Stanley Ho (R) at the opening of a 40-story Grand Lisboanew (above) on Sunday in Macao. Ho said he opened the new version of his flagship casino to win back market share from overseas competitors. According to Ho, his company had a 63 percent share of the city's casino market last year and he doesn't see an immediate threat from rivals. Foreign casino operators are investing US$20 billion in Macao, the only Chinese city where gambling is legal. Ho's four-decade monopoly ended in 2002.
