- Tax rebates offered on imports of parts

THE government will give tax rebates to companies that import key parts and raw materials for technologically advanced equipment used in 16 industries, including power generation and petrochemicals, the State Administration of Taxation said.
Apart from clean-power generation and petrochemicals, the policy also covers imports for equipment in offshore drilling rigs, ships, high-speed trains, aircraft manufacturing, sheet steel plants, coal mining, and electronics, said the tax authority.
