- Audi-branded sales up 39 percent

A VOLKSWAGEN AG joint venture in China said yesterday last year's sales of Audi-branded automobiles in the country rose 39 percent year on year to 80,808 vehicles.
Besides Audi-branded automobiles, FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., the joint venture between State-owned China FAW Group and Volkswagen, also makes other lines of automobiles, including the Jetta. The joint venture didn't disclose last year's sales figures for automobiles that didn't carry the Audi brand.
