GOODS acquired as bribes by six corrupt officials in East China's Anhui Province will be auctioned, according to the provincial procuratorate Sunday.
The ill-gotten gains to go under the hammer include watches, rings, earrings, necklaces, calligraphy and paintings, clothing, wine, jade, golden Buddha figures, bronze ware, computers, printers and scanners.

The six corrupt officials include Wang Huaizhong, former vice governor of Anhui and Xiao Zuoxin, former mayor of Fuyang City, Wang Hanqing, former vice mayor of Huaibei City, and Zhao Zengjun, former vice mayor of Xuancheng City.
In 2003, Wang Huaizhong was sentenced to death for taking bribes worth 5.17 million yuan (US$623,000) from 1994 to 2001 and possessing 4.8 million yuan that he could not account for. Wang was executed Feb. 12, 2004.
Xiao was sentenced to life imprisonment for taking bribes and possessing a huge amount of property he could not account for. The other four officials were jailed for between 11 and 13 years for taking bribes.
